Age difference between Chainsaw Mans Himeno and Denji focus of new controversy
Devils are empowered by fear but, since the people see Chainsaw Man as a hero, no one’s afraid anymore, dulling his fangs. But people are still plenty frightened of blood, meaning Denji still has enough juice in him to make a change… I don’t think makima is dead as many people cannot shut up about her, so she is not dead ig. I hope there is no stupid training arcs in this anime to get stronger . Heh, Denji didn’t get his sexy time but hey, it looks like Himeno wants to hook him up with Makina.
I Know I’m Dumb, But Video Game Hints Are Getting Ridiculous
But as the night goes on in the bar, Himeno gets quite drunk. Unexpectedly, Himeno turns into a kissing machine while intoxicated. Himeno puked in the middle of Denji and Himeno’s first kiss, cruelly ending their moment. Likewise, the episode ends with yet another carnal desire of Denji’s being given the opportunity to be fulfilled. This will undoubtedly turn into yet another heightening moment for his character, hopefully continuing to sway those anime-only fans who were initially critical of him.
However, seeing Hayakawa and Himeno discuss Makima’s attachment with Denji will make you wonder what she’s hiding from everyone. In a flashback, a young Denji scavenging for food with Pochita and notices a gang of rats eating someone’s vomit. He laughs at them as we transition into the present with him in the restroom throwing up. Arai assists Denji with his issue and tells him he used to help his mother when she’d arrive drunk after work.
Denji decides to fight the Eternity Devil but tells Himeno that she better fulfill their deal when he’s finished. Hayakawa, Denji, and Himeno enter a room before it completely shifts. On the other side, Kobeni urges them to make the contract with the Eternity Devil. Before Hayakawa uses his sword, Himeno uses her Ghost Devil to entangle Hayakawa, infuriating Denji.
Denji’s coworker Himeno kisses him, but is so nauseated that she vomits down his throat. One of the devil hunters at the party talks to Denji and informs him that Himeno starts kissing everyone when she’s drunk which Denji celebrates as his kiss as practically a guarantee. Suddenly Makima appears and questions Denji on who he is going to kiss forcing Denji into a state of indecisiveness as he affirms his desire to kiss Himeno to Himeno and denies it to Makima. What makes the anime sequence even more uncomfortable than the one in the manga is that the audience already knew, from the ending of episode #7, that Himeno was going to ask Denji to "do it". However, episode #8 opens a little back in time, when the two arrive at Himeno’s apartment, and it follows the woman’s pre-bed routine for a while. The audience, thus, is watching an adult woman getting ready to sexually harass an intoxicated minor.
As one can tell, there’s a lot to speculate about Hayakawa’s character. Power suggests killing him to fulfill her Nobel Prize dream, but Hayakawa confirms Fiends can’t make pacts with devils. They settle on keeping Denji alive and wait it out to strategize. Hayakawa wants to use his sword, but Himeno argues against it, puzzling Denji. Arai, Power, and Kobeni get into a squabble in the other room. Denji mocks the Head Devil, saying it’ll just kill everyone anyway.
Himeno promises Denji a french kiss if he kills the devil. Aki remembered the stories his parents use to tell as a child about the war that killed off the monsters that would hunt his nightmares. That the monsters were fake and that there would be nothing that existed that could harm him like that. Yet, he could never forgot the feeling of unease even when he grew up into a young man. A young man who had something to protect and watch over now the oldest child of four including himself.
Expected so much more considering the studio, budget, hype and ad-s this show was getting… Gosso working wonders to start off the concluding sundayporn of season 1; we’re now entering Chainsaw Man pacing. There was Denji still going-over his post drinking hangover, but the moment he heard the magic word, “SEX”, it felt like as if he never went through the barf trauma to begin with. Though the dude is still a battle shounen protag, so no seggs for the time being. The 8th ED having been leaked hours ahead of time, and it’s a banger since it’s TK from Ling Tosite Sigure, with the deathly visuals.
If their is any category in which CSM is peak at the moment then it is ost and animation. The Ghost Devil accepts, and Himeno proceeds to lose body parts as the Ghost devil manifests to fight the Sword Devil. Eventually, she is completely erased, leaving only the Ghost Devil and her will behind. Shortly after this, though, almost all of the Ghost Devil is consumed when one of the Sword Devil’s allies summons the Snake Devil to devour it. With only its arm left to control, Himeno uses said arm to pull the rip cord in Denji’s chest and turn him into Chainsaw Man. Makima asks where Denji is, and Fushi states that he left with Himeno on his back.
Did Denji Lose His Abilities After Power Ate Pochita?
Arai, Kobeni, and Himeno can all be seen looking over at him, and Power mentions that Denji’s loss of blood may cause his chainsaws to retract. Pound for pound, Chainsaw Man Episode 7 is the best blend yet of action, excitement, comedy, and more. Follow along as this article fully breaks down the smash-hit anime series’ latest episode. Thanks to Makima’s scheming, Denji’s Chainsaw powers are severely weakened.

We dive into the Katana Man arc and this is where the story really begins to pick up. RIP Himeno, this is just the first taste of CSM’s habit of introducing a character then clapping them a few chapters/episodes later. It goes without saying, but what a great episode with some great action and shocking moments . We’re off to a damn good start to this arc and I can’t wait to see how the rest is adapted. Also, banger ED by TK, his ED was the one I was looking forward to the most.
Hopefully this cleared up whether or not Himeno and Aki get together in Chainsaw Man. For more on the series, check out any of the related articles down below. We’ve also got plenty of other explainer guides, including ones on whether or not Aki dies, what a Fiend is, and whether or not Denji fights the Gun Devil.
